The German-Jordanian University (GJU) was founded in 2005 by a Royal Decree, between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan, and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany. GJU offers 17 undergraduate programs distributed among 7 schools, and 5 graduate programs at the MSc level in a broad variety of engineering, business, technical and professional fields.
The University is currently located in the Royal Scientific Society in Al-Jubeiha. The university will move to its permanent campus located in ElMushaqar region in the city of Madaba 20 Kilometers south of Amman.
